I recently got a pair of Atomic Thugs. The first time i brought them out was yesterday. It was pouring down rain at Steven's pass Washington. The snow was very firm, and there were 3 pretty big jumps. The park crew said that the waterfall (the first jump) was 60 ft. and the two after were 55 and 66 feet. They were all very kicky. I took a few runs through the park in the morning and the skis held an edge very well. They were very easy to get from one edge to the other also. I hit some of the jumps and spun off of the big ones. The skis were very easy to control in the air for fat skis, and the felt very very good landing switch. They also skied switch on groomers pretty well. Today i took them up to Alpental, were it snowed around 10 inches at the top. Me and a few other guys went out into the B.C. The skis were sick. Floated super, super good for how far forward they were mounted. they love to go fast, and you can also sort of slash turn on them which is really fun. The skis plowed through everything and were aming switch in powder. you must always stay forward and ontop of these skis or else they can get away from you. Some one who is heavier than me might want something stiffer for big lines. These skis are sick. i cant wait to hit up some B.C. booters on them too.

I haven't ridden them, but by a hand flex, they feel very soft, I'd venture to say they are softer than the Made'n.

nice, ive got some coming in the post in the next week hopefully, size 191. btw, i read elsewhere that they are very soft at the tip and tail, but are stiff under the bindings, meaning charging fast can be done, as well as buttering. apparently when skiing powder you can see the tips bending up and down, while the ski remains stiff.

i thought that sounded like a damn good combination. hope i made the right choice.
