anyone ridden the atomic stomp. its like the pocket rocket. i ride em and was wondering what anybody else thought. i love em a ton.

 
they look sick. seem like a sick ski, i really want a pair. but i heard you cant mount them with like salomon bindings or look or anything other than atomic

you can only mount atomic bindings to the stomp because they havea built in plate so you get all flexbility with the ski. they are sixk but to have to go all out on atomic is so damn expensive. how are the tweaks'?

 
These skis weren't too bad. I rode them for one run on a demo day, they felt a little bit heavy but the length (176) was perfect and the bindings weren't too bad.

I only hit one jump on them, a small tabletop that I just did a switch 180 on. Though I don't seem like I'm going fast on them it was probably me biggest switch 1 yet which was pretty cool.

I'd consider these as a ski for me, I'd need to get used to them because I'm not used to riding a fatter ski (i ride 1260s) but they were pretty sweet.

nnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnoooodles. but it's a good ski. 2mm smaller under foot than the PR, but nothing one could notice. Turning radius is about the same, little hevier but nothing that anyone could really notice. Not as stable, but shit-they come with sweet binders. The atomic ride binding is where it's at.

 
i was deciding between the BCs and the stomps, and i decided on the BCs because i didnt want atomic bindings. that sucks that you have to get atomic bindings with them

 
The binding is actually very nice. I stepped in and didn't even notice I was in. My s810's are so loud and flimsy feeling but these ones felt so solid and stuff, it was cool.

I didn't know these were only 2mm slimmer than Pocket Rockets, I guess they're the fattest ski I've ever rode then. Must've been why they felt weird to ski.

i love them a lot. took time to get used to but once i got used to them i dont want anything else. they have a ton of flex, not fast, but are pretty light for how big they are... i have em in 176 length and im 6 foot

 
Sam... you want every ski. Why not just use a ski for a full year and learn a bunch of new shit instead of just switching skis over and over again? you'll save money.

But like astomp17 said, these are not a fast ski... they just, don't go very fast. But they have momentum so you don't really need all the top speed shit going on, and they pop pretty nicely.

well 'steve' if that is even your real name :P

if i had stomps i would keep them, they would be a perfect ski for me. super duper all mountain ski. i wouldnt need another ski, and the only reason i dont have them is cuz the atomic bindings, but i might demo some this year, and see if i like the bindings

sam, if you are heavy atomic's not for you. They are very soft i know someone who snapped them after like a week of having them. get a volkl if u r heavy
