Atomic Skis

What do you think about Atomic skis.. triplets, deviant, stomp and others... are they worth buying as the first pair of skis... ?

Please write me your opininions about those skis...

yeah i gotta question too, whoever rides sugar daddys needs to post on this, there was so much hype for these skis and where im from they never really were mentioned after they came out maybe a couple months after no one was talking about them and i cant seem to find anyone who has them. as for atomic skis go, they seem to be good skis, my friend has triplets and loves them
 
all i can say is that this years triplets are going to be utterly amazing... the urbans are going to have the same sort of design as armadas have.

all in all any atomic ski is a solid choice
 
The Pimps are really sweet on soft snow, they would be my #1 choice for a backcountry ski if I had the money.
 
TRIP URBAN AND THUG. NOTHING ELSE. EVER. i can over butter the trips so hard and they hold nicely. and the thug is dope for powder. best ski ive skied in the deep.
 
the sugar daddys are skis that turn regular pow days into epic pow days, but it has to be a rediclus pow day, like 2 feet at least for them to do their job. id tell you more but you should just ride them, trust me they will be everything you think they are
 
i saw some in a shop the other day, they looked ok but they still have that weird atomic feeling about them, its probly just me but i have never liked atomic skis all that much.

does anyone know what core their using for their new set of twins. cause if its like the other skis they make they would have cut cost and used a shitty plastic foam core.
 
am not sure which should i buy... triplets urban or hp... am confussed...

is there so much difference on rails and slopes between hp and urban ?
 
ill prolly try em when i go on my bc trip this upcoming winter then cuz it deff wont dump enough where im from to try them out. im interested tho..
 
the hp is a all mountain twin tip. the urban is mainly a park ski. 84 at the waist i beilive. built just like armadas
 
they have a nice float to them, but can carve as well. Not that great for jumps but thats kinda a given. Super for drops tho
 
Stomp and Tweaks....well they suck balls........they are like wet noodles, and weak as shit. I don't trust in any of Atomic's shit.

and i have another question... What do you think about NEOX 412 ALU Bindings...? They looks quite solid...

thug is a122 underfoot fat ski with something a fortyish meter radius (might be wrong one this one) with a medium flex, not too soft yet not that stiff. Didnt get to try it but I just cant wait for a 181to come my way.

I enjoyed making turns in th park wihtthe 190ish pimps but yea since they were way to big for me i didnt do much with them.
 
unless you get a super discount, i would suggest you to wait a litle longer andgeta pair of 06-07 urban trplets, i mean the edges are bombproof, nicer flexpattern for butter and stuffs like that.

still the 05-06triplets are nice, just not as nice and solid as the 06-07
 
^ Damn that's a killer deal...and as far as the binding goes, I dunno, never ridden them but one guy I knew somewhat destroyed a pair last year during a railjam, but he didn't mind cause they were sponsor units...said he hated them though.
