Ive Heard the atomic punx are a sik ski and really want to get them. Does anyone know where to buy them in Australia or New Zealand?

they are a super sick ski. Get the punx not the urban punx. I rode my punx for a season and they are going strong. i love them.

I have a buddy who had terrible experiences with Atomic. Blown up skis after like 15 days, and then they basically refused to warranty them.

yeah hes one of the only people ive ever heard of with probelms with them. He also had the URBAN punx which is a differnt ski then the regular punx.

regardless of the ski, he had a TERRIBLE experience with their warranty support, and that would be enough to sketch me out.

i had the complete opposite experiance with the warranty. I had got some of last years punx from Ced t-f who used to ride for them and he was using them for urban ripped a heel piece out and snapped the core. i called them sent them in and got 08-09 punx.

Yer ive read heaps of posts saying they are good and bad but the general feel i get is they are good. I want them also because they are superlight. So does anyone know where to get them in Australia or NZ

is that a question or an answer that australia is doing atomic. i literaly have no idea is they are stocked in nz or aus. Im going to NZ in July and hopefully a shop will have them seen as they sponsor jossi wells who rides on them and is from NZ. The question is where in NZ do they sell them.

Does anybody know the capability of these skis for all mountain? I've considered them for 2010. Remember, we are not talking about urban punx.

they're a skinny park ski, pretty flexy, i doubt they'd be great as an all mountain ski. i do know for a fact that these skis are amazing in the park

i don't know if 82 is skinny as far as park skis thats pretty average

My AR6s are 83 and they rip all mountain it just depends if you're thinking deep pow all mountain ski because the you're losing a lot of floation

people seem to be stuck on fat park skis but I don't see why they just make you go slower haha but the extra fatness is better on rails I guess but punx are awesome from what I've heard

I'm talking about more groomers versus powder days. I skiied one this season and that was in killington, wasn't even that deep. New England ;-)

should be good any park ski that isnt a total noodle should be great for groomers

and remember Atomic is a race company so I'd expect their park skis to be based off the race skis that made them sucessful

Im going to Queenstown and wanaka to ski. but before i come over my parents are travelling around the south island so yer the south island mainly queenstown and wanaka

Try emailing outsidesports.co.nz in Queenstown or Wanaka I know they stock atomic, just don't know if they stock the punx

emailed outside sports and they said they are $999 NZ to order in with no bindings. Stoked with that because of the exchange rate. Succesful thread thanx

I see them for sale at heaps of stores around here (im from Wanaka), so yep not that hard to come by, youve got the exchange rate in your favour too

It depends what year you want. Last years are easy to get cheap. I've seen them for about $600 NZ in Wanaka Good Sport and i've heard there were some for $300 (all NZ$) at a shop in Dunedin (But it was closing down).

Outside sports Qtown stock them, so does good sports in Wanaka, small planet Qtown, Racers Edge Wanaka. IF you want this years i'd say you'll probably have a hard time getting them cheaper than $900 NZ

ive had my punx for 3 seasons and they still have some life left they are the most durable ski out ther and are pretty light

depends what model... i saw the purple and yellow 2011 model for 100 and something pounds on the internet. just search Atomic punx 2011 (or 2012) and it will come up on some random ski website
