ATOMIC- punx vs infamous

In the market for a new pair of park skis this weekend and i've never been on any atomics but i've always heard good things about the punx. Anyway, i'm looking at the infamous as well and when comparing the two they seem very much alike besides the infamous being significantly cheaper than the punx.. Not that price is a huge deciding factor for me but i'd obviously like to spend less money on my skis and what i'm wondering is what the real difference is that makes the two prices so different?Any problems people found that have had experience with the infamous?

Not that similar really. The imfamous is softer throughout and wider. This makes it a little more stable messing around on but a bit slower edge to edge. The punx and now stiffer then previous and still narrow for a park ski. This make them carve really well so for jumps and features your hitting faster they are a good choice. So if your more a comp style skier go for the punx if your more a jibber go imfamous.

^ woooord. first and last time i'm bumping this but i'm leaning towards the infamous more than any other ski at this point. Just looking for a recommendation for sizing. 6' guy around 165 lbs. THANKS hooking up all your karma

You could go either size. In 5'11 and 170 so pretty much the same and I'm going 176. It's a ski you don't need to ski long. But I could easily ride it in 181 too.

The actual punx now stiffer after that earlier whilst still being slim to get a park snowboarding. This cause them to become carve very well consequently pertaining to leaps and also features the hitting more quickly these are the ideal choice. And so in case your more any compensation type skier select your punx in case your more any jibber move imfamous.

Im really keen on this ski, however what is the durability like for atomic skis? ive always skiied salomon and im fed up of delimitated top sheets, arent atomic made from the same factory as salomons?

Nope differnt factory. They are separate companies just both owned by the same parent company. The only thing they share is bindings. My experience with atomic has been good had some punx which held up really well and the new infamous are really solid after some tweaking.
