So i am lookin to buy a ski that can handle backcountry and some pow while still rippin on the resort. These are the skis that I have narrowed it down to, anyone got any opinions about them or tried any of them out?

i rode the scratch wrs. they are amazing! such sick skis. idk about any of those other ones, never ridden them, but the pimps and the gotamas sound like sick skis too... i dont know man thats a hard choice

the enforcer is a lame ski.  Look at it and tell me that that is a finctional twin tip... it's just rediculous.

I would buy the Gotama. I found last years, this fall new, but I think that they are pretty much impossible to come by at this point. Apparently al's ski barn bought all of the Gotamas from last year that were left over, and I got the last pair of 183's that they had. I have only skied them a couple times, but am super happy. Definitly my favorite skis i have skied. The new Gotamas also have a little more side cut which would be better for you when you are on the groomers.

Everybody who has Gotamas seems to rave about them.

But the 07 Prophet 100s are amazing skis as well. They were an editor's choice pick at Freeskier and "skiers choice" pick at Powder, for whatever that's worth. Anyhow, I love mine and I haven't met anybody who doesn't also love their 100s.

Pimps are better for more backcountry because they're way lighter than any of the others, but they don't make a good hardpack ski because of the soft tips. Gotamas will be a bit heavier, but they're a great all around ski and will float and plow through anything you come across. You really can't go wrong with Goats unless you're skiing park or moguls.
