Atomic Bents vs Kartel 116

Hey guys ,

Im looking for some advice on deciding between a couple skis and sizing. I'm 6'1" about 180lbs, advanced skiier, I spend most of my time skiing blacks with some double blacks in the slack country of Whistler and am looking to pick up some new Powder/ Soft snow skis that are fun to jib around on. My dilemma is that I've owned ON3P in the past and would love to get some Kartel 116s but have come across some of the atomics at a great price. So heres my situation.

Do i get last years Chetlers in a 185 for about $500 out the door, or save up a bit longer and order some Kartels mid season? With bindings the Kartels would be roughly twice as expensive as atomics with bindings.

Second thing is the sizing, I feel like the 185 atomics are a bit too short and would probably opt for the 192 which isn't available. If I go the Kartel route I would opt for the 186 I think as I have the K98s in 186 and I feel the sizing is perfect.

Any opinions or third options to consider are welcome. I've also considered Sick Day 114s because they're available for roughly $700 CAD.

thanks

A Bentchetler never disappoints. Fun even on groomers and sidehits. Interested in seeing what the K116 rides like, might even grab a pair of 108's. ON3P's probably a little stiffer overall flex. That being said, both skis are probably some of the top pow jib skis out right now.

You're worried about a centimeter? To put that in perspective, look at your dick. That's what a centimeter looks like, it's basically meaningless. In all seriousness, though, get the Chetlers. It's too good of a deal to pass up and they're pretty much the gold standard of soft snow jib skis.
