Atomic Automatic 109 vs Backland 107

I would assume the Automatic 109 is slightly stiffer and more of an all mountain / soft snow / resort powder ski and the Backland is more of a playful, side country and tour ski?

Are there any other skis that are quite similar to the Automatic line up aside from it's successor?
 
The new Vantage 107 Ti uses the same bottom mold as the Backland 107 (= same footprint & rocker profile) but uses a unique top mold and has 2 layers of metal in it.

If you are looking for a charging, all-mountain/freeride ski, this is definitely one to look at.
