Im looking for some bigger backcountry ski with a rockered tip and it happens to be that i know a dude that knows a dude that is selling this ski. Its a demo model but its till good..

From what i've heard its a pretty good one but lacks playfulness like the benchetler.. Dous anyonebody here knows a bit more?

And the ski is probably 192 i myself are 175... How should i mount the bindings or should i keep looking for the 182 ?

the atlas is a real beast of a ski, if you plan on using it for charging, thats the right ski to do it. its stiff, its straight, and it hauls. that said, if youre a smaller dude and you arent going to be out skiing ak-style lines, id hold out for the 182.

as far as the mount goes, it is a directional ski as you know, and being made for the style of skiing that they are, youre going to want to keep it relatively close to suggested. the stiff tail will throw you off if you have too much of it.
