its sad because LJ's out for the season.. but that was insane, i just showed half of my IB psych class that haha
 
hahaha, saw this go down in person. was so fucked, kid is out of his head. it took him so many tries to stomp it. my roommate won that contest though /subtle claim
 
no, it didnt even win best trick which was a 250$ prize. the landed trick was after the contest ended, so the only tricks the judges saw from him were the falls.
 
that'd be hard for skiers if you ent up to a box sideways like that. snowboarders can put a lot of weight backwards when they're sideways, you can't put as much. although i'm sure someone could do it.
 
Even Sigstad does this sort of in Being There.. U rail to gap to down rail and he lincolns it. Not nearly as sick as this though

jeeez.... thsi happens a ton though with ski. i have a screen shot burried somewhere on my computer of my k2 domains literally in the shape of a U.
 
wow that was INSANE. i figured out he was gonna flip in and i was gonna say, dude plays too much skate he thinks it's real life, but shit, he powerslided into it? what a boss
 
I've actually seen some random grom kid do this on skis at mt creek, nj last year. It was to a low flat box and he jus landed on the box straight and rode off. Pretty sick though. Kinda narrow box too. Not as narrow as that rail but still. Plus the kid threw it jus cruisin through the park. I was right behind him and when we got to the lift I gave him a fist bump and told him it was pretty sick. Kid was all stoked too like "really?". He was tellin all his friends in the lift line that I was giving him props. Meanwhile my bud and I are laughin cause the kids like 30 times better than me. Haha.

Smaller kid. Maybe 12-14? Tough to judge in ski gear. Looked Italian maybe? Super nice kid though. He was genuinely stoked that I was giving him props for that. But yeah it was pretty sick that he wasn't like "hikin the box". He jus threw it on a park lap. Even kinda tail buttered off the box too. Haha. Also saw the kid throw a Lincoln off like some random mogul at high speed too. Kid had like literally 3" between his head and the ground. Pretty sick.

Yeah dude, it's everywhere too. The grom to pro gap is nonexistent. Ever been in the PCMR park? Now I know some of them ARE pros but damn. Like nearly every person in that park rips. Even the chicks rip. makes ya feel like ya don't belong in there if your not at that level. Haha. But yeah, Lotsa talent at creek.
