Snowshoes park blows. At the top of their park this past year they had a freaking 12 foot cheese wedge that dropped another 30 or so feet to a flat landing. The hit at the top on the right was decent, the jumps to their rails always seem to suck, and their pipe is a 300 foot sheet of ice with the most crooked walls ever. They have a fun battleship rail and c-box, other than, it sort of sucks. And it is so far out of the way of everything.
As far as NC, App has the best rails, with a big S Rail, a short flat, a big flat down, a smaller flat down flat, or down flat down, or down down down depending on hos its setup thats been beat to hell that actually has 3 kinks in it. Sugar has a decent flat down rail and a half decent 25-30 foot table, but they dont technically allow skiers in the park, but that should change this year. Hawksnest doesnt maintain crap, the park is poorly lit at night, and the rails are all rusted out and the 'table' is aimed into the woods. Beech sucks. They have a 75 fppt stunt ditch dug into the ground that they blow snow into and shovel the walls every now and then.
