Ataching pvc to wood

Ive heard two different methods

1. drilling up throught wood into pipe

2.drilling throught the top of the pipe then droping a screw down and ataching to wood. this sounds more effective but i would think you would catch massive edge on the little wholes your going over

what do you think 1 or 2

1 but one of my friends dads did number 2 and like filled in the holes with some sort of glue thing.... its really dope.

or you can drill sideways, at an angle so you get the wood and the pvc and then stick screws straight down between the two pieces of pvc to hold it on the opposite way.. none of my rails have broken yet..

or you can use searchbar too, i heard it works really well.. :)

yup, just make sure to inscrew or whatever the word is, get ,the screws under the base level so theyre dug into the pipe

Go for 2 and if it really bothers you fill the wholes up with that pasta-stuff, name doesn't pop up in my head right now.

Put in bolts at each end and use "liquid nails" colk shit on the side, mine has been through like 3 winters of being buried in snow and one season of constant hitting before that and its still all connected.

i did similar to what your #2 was, and just take a file and shave ir down. i never catch an edge
