ATA loses Matt Walker + Anna Segal

Hey kiddies of NS,

our dearest Anna Segal female US Open slopestyle champion is out for awhile due to ACL. She was ballin' this year more than I have every seen a girl. She busted it throwin a really dope right 5, her leg caught in a hole in the landing.

The Daywalker formerly known as Matt Walker caught his leg underneath a rail at Keystone and broke his tibia. If you know either of this riders please give your respects as you know they will be back on snow as soon as possible tearin shit up
 
oh FUCK this. this is crazy...

kinda weird how two gingers are out for basically the same type of injury (nevill wilder and matt)

fuck sorry guys... I just found out i tore my miniscus so im kinda out for a bit too. how long you guys out for? get better!
 
what rail at keystone? was it those below the mini pipe? if so i hate those cuz of that and it scares me. i wish theyd put some wood under them.
 
yeah seriously.

im guessing that single barrel, cuz of walkers rail skills, im assuming he was trying to spin mad crazy onto that one, and its actually a pretty difficult rail (in my sucky ski skills opinion)

the double kink there is death too, hard as balls.
 
ya, shit suckksss. but a clean break in a leg is 10x better than a blown knee... i want to be skiing by april 1 and am planning on doing WSI SICKK!!! anyway, ya if anybody knows keystone, there are 2 sets of rails below the mini pipe, i was doing a bs switch on the flat down (it doesnt have wood panels between the metal support poles that go into the snow) so anwyay, i fell off switch a bit early and would have nutted if it was a taller rail, but managed to snag my right tail behind the last pole, flipped over, somewhere in there tweaked my leg, shit sucked. broke my right fibia right above my boot, but they said its a clean break, so it shouldnt be that bad... i get it set today. somehow got a black eye through my gogs too. but im over it. see you foools in april. o and Matt Terral and Whitney Wickes are done for awhile too from aspen and CHARLIE LASSER IS GOING TO WIN SKI TOUR BRECK!!!
 
the keystone rails that dont have wood in between the legs are shady. no more shady than an urban rail, but none the less, sorry to hear that matt.
