I don't know what thread category to post this under but since it's summer setup related, may as well put it here. What's better, astro turf or that orange fence stuff?
i think you get a little bit of edge control with the turf but the fence is faster. what i see some kids doing is use both. like orange fence on the drop and turf on our jump.
This might work if you have short grass, but I think you would probably just stick otherwise. I would advise getting some turf. I use two pieces of 12x5 turf, those only cost about $13 each
Ya that's what I'm thinking. I already have a lot of turf, I'm just thinking about trying the fence with it in order to go faster for the drop in. Thanks!
what about orange fencing/ lattice on just plywood? cuz turf is kinda pricey, im not building a drop in, im building a flat structure with a bungee and a rail or jump..
If you wanna put the money into a nice set up go with msnow and if you are doing turf definitely put the orange fencing over your drop in mine is about 5-6 feet tall and without orange fence jsut using turf i cant even get onto my rail
To be honest the plastic stuff sucks, I had that and now have a legit dry slope, build it good and buy short turf length and grab a little water you will be much happier, worth it for 30 bills or so
The problem is my setup is far from a water source. How much water do you need? I could just make a little water collection thing. Do you need to soak it?
naw i got some friends thatll do this with me, i just dont have the space to build the drop in, i just wana lay out some turff and orange stuff and a bungee
im just looking for something portable, my back yard is small so am walkin to a park a couple blocks away that has a hill... so i wanna lay down the fencing and use a bungee for some good times
