anyone every heard of or seen the asterisk knee stuff?? I have seen it in a couple ski mags and was thinking of possibly getting them cause i always have problems with my knees. Anyone know what i'm talking about?? Have any insight into the products??

Thanks

Yo i where Asterisk knee braces riding motocross.   I would never ride mx without them.  ive never worn them skiing but have thought about it a few times

I know a few kids who love them for skiing. They are really adjustable at every hinge so you can really get them dialed to your fit.

They look like a solid product for sure, I will also be getting a set of these this winter at some point.

They are good for ligament protecting but not for cartilage. so if you have a torn meniscus I would suggest just working out in the gym to get your knee streonger instead of depend on one of those

i love mine, they are essential for big mountain riding, not good for park. if you knee yourself in the face with them on.. ouch.

Ive had a pair of them for a year now. i wont ski without them, they are comfortable, fit well, and they really do protect your knees. i had a couple falls last year that something should have gotten fucked up. I would recommend them to anyone. you wont go wrong!!! plus they are way cheaper than don joys

do these braces work well for park ridiing? or are they too bulky....one guy said only use them for big mountian...anyone have any other experiences...

not true, maybe in some situations a knee brace wont help. but in most cases knee braces stop hyper extension which is an easy way to tear ur knee up!!!

i have them they are dope..... and whoever said you cant wear them in the park cuz you might knee yourself in the face is foolish because the plastic cup over your knee is alot softer than the top of your femur.

everyone i've heard from says the same thing. They are good to stabilize the knee during rehab and such. Otherwise they actually hurt your knee by making it dependent on the brace.
