Yes, it is totally wrong, and it schouldn't happen. Do you know anything about the people hunting those animals. For those hunters it is their ONLY means of income. They live under the poverty line in fishing towns that have gone to shit because of Economy,overfishing, americans fishing in canadian waters. They have NOTHING. Have you even been up to Nova Scotia, or Newfoundland? You want to make things better, tell other countries to stop fishing in our waters, send money in the towns so that the fisherees can open again, make our economy better so we can support these people.

Its it right to kill these animals, no. Is it right to let 50 000 people starve, be homeless, or not be able to support their family. Don't just say something because some old fucking beattle says so. Get all the facts, then make educated statments. You see for your self, and talk to the people. Understand the matter, don't just throw shit out there.
 
ok i actually got this thing of of myspace becuase its so cool(sarcasm) and i just decided to put it on here to show that it is kinda fucked up....i wasnt taking a stab at canadians or norwegans i just copied and pasted that stuff.... and yes food does come first before humans the world was made that way...animals are our food but its just kinda messed up...couldnt they eat like fish?lol u r right about what u said its just kinda sad cas those things didnt do anything(atleast that i know of, maybe they like stole the dudes pants or something) so yea
 
yeah...its sad...but thats life...it will get better eventually...but for now thats the way it is man. Like the saying goes " You eat the burger, but you don't want to meet the cow"

Jesus christ.. people just freak out becaue they're cute. Heres your first clue genious, things die in nature. So we hit a few hundred over the head with a club and gut them on the ice, looks bloody sure, looks messy yeah, but how about nature videos of polar bears tearing seals to peices, it happens too. besides, nothing from those seals goes to waste, everything is used, and it is a sustainable hunt, regulated so that the northern seal population is never in danger. The hunt is a centuries old tradition that is just hard for people in the other parts of the world to fathom due to its apparent brutality. Think about the the next time you peg a gopher with your .22 or a bird with your pellet rifle. Shit happens, get over it.

Heres the key difference: You shoot a bird with a pellet gun, shit happens. You dont take graphic pictures of brutality on a personal, club to head level and post them for all to see.

A: its a controled hunt....these seals are not even CLOSE to being extinct. Get educated, your a moron.

B: do you think people hunt these seals for Fun, what the fuck do you guys know. Do you live in newfoundland.....do you know the hunters. No. WELL THEN SHUT THE FUCK UP. Learn both sides you stupid fucks. People do this because it is their only way of life. When your town closes down because its prime resource goes away, how the fuck are you going to feed your family. Like i said before in the thread above. Is it right to kill these animals...no. Is it right to let 50 000 people stave, not have a home, die because they can't hunt. Don't fucking listen to celebs because their famous, make up your own mind. No offence, but the people in my country come first. Its easy to tell everybody else how to live when your belly is full, in your warm house, with your brand new clothes.
 
its just hunting. would you feel better if we give the seal antlers and use a high powered rifle ?
