Asking for advice

i dont know if its gay to ask another ski how to do some of the shit he is doing and show you the trick cuz i feel like they will be dicks and (i might have to throw down)

i think too many people make this assumption, im not a very great skier myself, but not once when asking for advice from another skier have i ever been belittled in anyway, skiers are chill nice people, and no one is gonna hate on someone trying shit, plus theres nothing better than someone new showing you how to do a trick and then you stomp one it just feels good

if someone asked me for help i'd be stoked to give them some tips. i don't think anyone ever will ask me though.

do that, if your out trying hard to nail a trick or something and you see another skier stomp go ask him for some help, all skiers are cool and will help you out. also give advice to little twin tip shredders, they will thinik you are the shit no matter what.

i guess it's fair to say that most people on the hill are chill..so they would probably be stoked that you want advice from them - i know i would if someone came up to me one day and asked for tips

It always stokes me out when people come up and ask stuff. But sometimes its weird. example: some kid asked me "how do you ski so steezy?". and I am like "I have no idea". or "how do you spin so fast?"

and I answer "I have no idea" but with specific tricks it is fine, just make sure you know what you want to learn. I think most skiers would be stoked to help someone else out.

i had a friend who wanted to learn how to ski rails (not on twins) and this one kid spent probably an hour and a half sessioning this flatbar that is about a foot off of the ground while teaching her, and this went about an hour after the mountain closed. wed have stayed longer but got the boot by park crew
