Asking a girl out over Facebook

Hey NS,

Currently I am in Australia for a school exchange and i get back about 2 days before a semi-formal dinner and dance at my school. I really want to ask this girl to it but i don't have time to when I get back home, so i will have to do it through a text. Just wondering if you guys have any advice on what I should say?

Tell her that you appreciated all the years she was your sister, but you're ready to go the next step with her.
 
If you absolutely cant do it in person at least make it a phone call, not over fucking facebook

For the love of everything good, call her. If you can't do it in person, at least put forth the effort to try and show you want to take her.

DO NOT USE FACEBOOK. I cannot stress that enough, it seems like something a dude would use if he was desperately trying to find a date, because he couldn't get one.
 
nut up and ask her in person. if you don't have the time, make the time. she will see you as confident and it will be a huge confidence boost for you.
 
It's a dance. Just do it, who cares. Make a list and if she says no keep moving down. Have a stopping point and if you reach that start drinking and keep on going.

It's a dance not a marriage proposal. People blow this shit up in my opinion. If you rock an international call to ask her out that chick out you better at least get your dick sucked out of this.

If you really want to go with her, whether she likes it or not, call her.

This new generation can't handle the verbal pressure.
 
If you both have Skype I would suggest doing it over a video call that way if you can't be there in person then at least it's a little more personal than just a phone call. If you don't have Skype then you can call through facebook so it's a still a voice call and you don't have to worry about your phone bill if you talk to long. If you can't do that then make a phone call. There are plenty of other options rather than through text. Hell if you both have snap chat you can do video chat over that. Message her into going into the message portion and hold the send snap button and hold(should turn blue when you can start to send a live video feed).

If a girl wants to date you, she won't care at all about your approach. What she cares about is you having the balls to ask.

I have no idea what your relationship is with this girl, but the strategy is typically to be casual, funny, confident, and direct.

Invest in spray paint, Paint D A N C E ? ? ? and then her full name and maybe hometown too on the Sydney Opera House. When she sees it on the news she will have no choice but to burst into tears and say yes. She will be waiting for you in the airport crying and ready to dance the night away and then let you do naughty things to her once it ends and the chaperones go home.
 
Don't ask her out over text or facebook. She will think you don't have the balls to ask her out in person. I would just wait.
 
Either that or kill all her family members and align their bodies so it says "date". Then take a picture of them and send it to her.
 
One time in 7th grade I set my profile on AIM to "(girl's name) will you go out with me?" and then signed off. Totally worked, we dated for a week.

She would HAVE to say yes.
 
It's a boarding school and she doesn't have a phone that I can reach her on to call. So i have to do it over Facebook or text... I don't want to ask her over that, Id rather call, but I just can't. I get back the day on the semi so i can't do it in person either...

You can make a phone call over facebook... so as long as she has a laptop within this decade it should at least have a mic on it. There, phone call problem solved.

She's from Germany so she doesn't have a canadian sim card, but I can text her over the internet through iMessage and Facebook. Im gonna Skype her.

A girl from my highschool asked me out over facebook once. I've been with her for just over 2 years now. It's 2014, we do goddamn everything else on our computers/phones/etc... Do whatever the fuck works.
