im doing stuff now that i would never even imagine i would be doing when i started skiing. i started really getting into skiing in 6th grade so when i was about 12. i would ski with my dad(nothings wrong with that) and i would look at people hitting jumps and i would think wow, thats amaxing ill never be able to do that. so i was that kid with twins that would always go small and most of the time land in the middle of all the tables. well now that 3 years has gone by(it feels like ages)i am the kid that does all the crazy shit i saw and made me think wow ill never be able to do that. im going bigger and hitting jumps i never thought i would touch or ever think about hitting. and not only am i hitting them im doing tricks and flips and all that good stuff on them. and to think that just 3 short years ago i was thinking i would never do that or even come close to it. well i am real glad i was wrong and its fun thinking back on what you thought when you first started skiing.

experiences storys from anyone else? comments welcome

huh? dude im still only 15, and im nto saying im pro, career just meaning my freestyle skiing and how its progressed

When I started my skiing career, I looked at people who didn't have to jump to get onto the chairlift, and I thought "someday I'll be big enough to board the lift without the help of my parents." And now I have attained the ability to simply sit down on the chair when it comes around the bullwheel.

Oh yeah? well now I'm the kid who skiis off the side of jumps to get sweet air. Sometimes I hit it straight on, but get scared and slow down. I get like a few sweet inches of airtime off the lip, and then ski down the rest. sometimes I fall and have to have people come help me get back up cause my legs get all twisted up. It's sweet.

i started skiing in mass

i was also afraid of heights

now i'm racing in NH, flying down trails i would have been scared to traverse across not too long ago

now starting freestyle i feel it again, pushing myself to be less of a sissy, lol

its a goooood feeling

(except when u fall on grindrails, that feeling=not so good)

Im the best skier at my mountain. I can do switch cork 1260s. I can do wilson flips that look sooooo good. I am better than Tj, Jacob, Jon, and Tanner combined. I am better than all of you.

"look back on my skiing career"

dude, thats like calling last run on a day. ur totally gunna die now.

i remember first really gettin into skiing, i had these POS head radial 7xs (worst ski ever, at 14 i could over power a 170), and this was right about the time the very first 1080s were leaking out. the old mogul/freestyle crew back in the day got hold of them, and i member seeing this cat rip it up switch, and was blown away. right then, i needed them. next season, i passed up the original white 1260s for some shitty sal 720s (salomons were the thing to have, i was retarded), and started tryin to do shit. i sucked. the next season, i smartened up, and got the 1260s, and those suckers really helped me. but if you were to show me now to myself 7 years ago, i would have crapped a brick. i was a huge pussy back in the day lol.
