As good as a segment can be?- Dane Tudor

Dane's Grand Bizzare is fire on so may levels. It builds from urban all the way to some great big mountain lines. With quite possible one of the most aesthetic pillow/spine lines I have seen. One that A. I can't believe didn't close out the segment, and B. didn't get nominated for an award.

Just wanted to say that I really appreciate that segment.

I was super critical of his move over to Scott Sports. He got paid and he was worth the money. But there is something to be said about the other non-tangeables that accompany the support from a sponsor. Dane essentially fell off the map after this transfer. Such a good skier. Definitely one of my favs to watch shred anything - urban, bc, big mountain.

Agreed, that segment is fire in so many ways.

Surprised to read this. I don't have an opinion on his move to Scott at all, but his segment in Paradise Waits was awesome, and I see him in Scott bike stuff too now, which is rad.

It is sick. There is some extra footage that is great too. To be honest I can't believe a couple of the shots in the extras did not make the movie.

For sure, such a baller segment. Hard to compete with Sammy C's closer though as he also had a nice balance of BC/Urban/Park and jibs BC zones in a historically dope manner. Grand Bizarre in general is a ridiculous movie partly because many of the skiers had well balanced segments like that. LJ gets some BC shots (double flair off wind lip comes to mind) in addition to some absurd urban, Mike Henitiuk has some nice urban shots and gnarly pillow/big mountain lines, etc.

good call out. I think that is one of the best segments ever, well rounded, and such perfect backcountry jumps and lines. kinda crazy, i haven't seen too many segments that have outdone that to this day, aesthetically and level of riding. I miss those kinds of banger video parts. Dane was my favorite for many years

.]I skipped that movie all together. Probably should give it a glance if you're recommending it for his seggy.

It's actually a great film. Leigh Powis has an amazing segment too.
