I can't decide on my next skis. I broke a pair of PE's so it's time for another all mountain/park ski. 5'11' 240 likes GS turns and big jumps. Zero rails. I've been thinking between these 3 so far. If there's something else let me know. Cheers from the PNW.
 
i just jumped off my PE's to a pair of Ar6's. I freakin love em. Seems to be a good all around ski so far, and its sweet off jumps too.
 
I got the ARV's and i love them. The 92 underfoot really helps float better in the pow compared to a skinnier ski. And they still carve real nice on groomers and are great in bumps/glades. Only thing is they don't handle a lot of ice really well. But i have the 08 model and supposedly they made the newer ones stiffer so that might make them better in that respect.
 
honestly, this years' arvs suck dick. i tried my friends' and i absolutely hated them

it's like your skiing on a 2x4 (stiff, heavy, not great turning)

but, back in 04-05, i skied a couple months on public enemies... then i moved to ar6s.

i would really recommend getting ar6s, they are sick all over the mountain
 
Thanks for the replies... Still a toss up on wich skis to get. Fatter All mountain skis that are good everywhere. Or AR6's that kill it in the park. I'm leaning towards the Blends as I like fatter skis and like to ski the whole mountain with a couple big hits in the park... Cheers
 
I just got blends and they rule everything. They're super stable on landings and the flex is definitely not noodley. Super fun and when you're laying down super sweet GS turns they plow chop like nobodies business.
 
Got some blends.... First day will be tomorrow. Got to scrape em and there ready to rock. I'll post a review later.
