ARV in trees?

Hey yall, so I'm looking for a good east-coast pow/off-piste/tree/etc ski, and the ARV looks perfect. I'm looking at the 175 and 185 lengths. I'm a really strong skier, so I'm not worried about being able to ski the 185s, but I am concerned that they won't be quick enough for trees...especially closely-spaced east coast trees. I'm 5'11", 175, I'm comfortable on any terrain ive hit up thus far in my life. anyone skied the ARVs in trees? how do they perform? thanks/k+

Get the 185. Last year i was 5'4 5'5 about 115, 120 and i skied/still ski on the 165. Now im 5'7 135, 140. I personally I loved the skis. its a great all around ski. does great in trees and anything else. One thing that i did notice however, is the flex. I ski very aggressively, and I found that they are a little to flexible for my taste. They get a bit squirly at really high speed. but you can rip em on edge, and they do pretty good in the park and on rails. But it is my second favorite ski (first being my jj's) and i still love it.

yea. thats one place where i liked the amount of flex they had. they cruise around in super tight trees like a dream. I had no problems with that

i personally consider the ARV as way more of a park ski than all mountain ski. The flex is a bit softer and they aren't that big
