ARV 96 or Nomad 95

10% Powder ( I have 110 waist pow skis)

50% Frontside

40% Park

I'm looking for a playful all mountain ski that can rip in the park and can lay down some nice turns too. I get decent prices on these skis through the shop I work at so I'm only looking at these two models. I have a pair of NFX but they are a little short and I'm not a huge fan of the full camber. I'd like something a little more utilitarian.

Icelantics are bombproof except for the bases, which really suck. AVR96 will be more stiff than nomad 95 making it better for groomers n stuff. I've never ridden an ARV96 but spent a season on nomad 95s and loved them. That said they are ridiculously soft and rockered so if that doesn't suit your fancy steer clear.

That's really helpful. I'm about 6'1" 200 lbs so a medium flex ski feels soft to me. I'll probably go for the armadas. I want something playful but not noodle soft.
