If it's your only ski 106 for sure otherwise 96 plus a versatile pow ski.
Wildcat 101, 108 would be excellent as well but they're kind of a different league budget wise.

for bc definitely go for the 106 unless you ski 98% park or are super concerned about weight.

ARV 96 and 106 are similar but still different skis. 106 has "smear tech" that will make it less hooky tip and tail (and float better). ARV 96 is definitely softer but if your a bigger dude the 106s are plenty soft. Also, you get what you get with a wider ski: heavier, slower edge to edge (doesn't matter in the park) and more capable in soft snow.
106mm skis are very capable on hard pack these days so I would go with that (unless your chasing powder days, in that case I'd go ARV 96 + wide pow ski).

Most definitely. I’ve owned both ARV96 and 106 and ride moments now. Haven’t been on the cat101 but can’t imagine going back to the ARV line after riding skis that are built so well and perform better than anything I’ve ever clicked into. So worth the extra $

Moment is worth it, there’s no doubt. Unless you find a really good deal on ARV 96s, get the Wildcat 101 (or if you can find an old PBJ that might be good too, they stopped selling them this year for some reason).

I think Andy Hays was saying Wildcat 101 was designed to take the PBJ’s place in the line up. I think having them both would be too big of an overlap.

You for sure won’t regret it. I thinned my quiver down from 4 whips to 2 because moments were a little more costly but it was totally worth it.

Highly recommend the wildcat 101. Im using them for exactly what your doing and love them. Originally got them as an all mountain and park ski but my actual park skis are taking forever to ship so ive been using them as a park ski. They feel so good and ski super short because of the rocker. Also a pretty light ski so its super easy to do swaps and spin fast on them. The times when ive got out to the mountains and got some powder they have floated better than anything ive ever skied before. Ive got mine mounted like -2cms from true centre which still gives me float but is super stable in spins. My favourite ski ever and i use it for similar things as you intend to. Also keep in mind that even tho its alot more expensive you get really great durability for your money.
Thats dope man , glad you’re havin lots of fun on them , it sounds like theres only positive feedback on these guys. I might have to pull the trigger unless I can get away with getting an older pair of pb&j’s for half the price. Thanks for the words.
