Arv 86 edge split?

not sure what its called but where the nose and tail start to rise those little clear thingys that split the nose and actual flat edge is it okay if they are broke in half?

sorry this sounds like a shit post I genuinely have no idea what to call that particular piece. That little piece is missing not fully just half of it was just curious if it is bad

This is normal. Usually out the factory the gap is filled with epoxy but not always and as they get used it almost always comes out. Don't worry it dosen't impact performance or durability. It won't let water into your cores

Yup this is normal on a lot of skis. If it starts coming back out you could try to bend it back in if it bothers you that much. And then epoxy the gap to make some sort of a seal.

easier to bend one small piece of metal for the tip and tail than it is to do one continual unbroken piece all the way round
