ARV 116 JJ vs ARV 116 JJ UL

I am on the fence between getting the regular JJs or the Ultralight ones. Is there any reason to pick the regular ones? The UL seems like they are the same ski except lighter. Has anyone ridden either of these skis and can offer insight? Thanks.

I’ve ridden the normal JJs and actually really liked them. They were also dead center mounted and still felt solid, stable, and relatively light at the same time.

only get UL if you are gana tour

The UL skis considerably softer. Great for backcountry but you'll wish you had the regular JJ when it matters. I got the UL for my girlfriend and she loves it. However she's like 5'6" and 120 lbs...

my buddy snapped his second pair of ultralights stomping a cliff recently. hoping armada will warranty them for him. im on my 3rd season on mine and love them!1089362.jpeg
