ARV 106's?

I'm considering getting some arv 106's for skiing deeper snow, as I live on the east coast and don't need the 116. I also plan a trip out west this spring and I need something to handle the surfy stuff. Deepest stuff I've been in is like 2 or 3 feet. Anybody have anything to say about em?

(I work in a shop so that's why Armada is my best choice)
 
If it is just for deeper snow and you have a nice all mountain ski for back east, why not get a fatter ski? That said i ski a 108 on the east and west and its my fav ski for both.
