That's what the headline at mont-st-Sauveur was today, with a possibility of 10cm of snow tonight!!

I'm not sure yet, but i'm gonna go talk to some people tomorrow and see what i can find out, but usually they open 3-7 days after they start shooting. They have the snowmaking capacity to open very soon, their system is really advanced and they love to open as soon as they can cause they always go for the longest season in quebec. I'm hoping to be riding friday or saturday. It's gonna be cold enough every night this week and the weather network is saying about 10cm of snow tonight. If the weather permits i'm sure they'd try this week-end, if not i'd say mid-week next or the week-end. Let's all pray to the snow god's tonight!!

Now that Im past my excitement, does anyone know how much of the hill will be open the opening week or two, and any more specific dates, as well as if there is ognna be any park-like thing... If there is a reasonable amount of hill open that would be sweet

last year at opening was sick they had a run for skiing and another one that everyone just built shit on there was a ghetto red rail from the old sauveur park and a table hope they do the same thing this year or maybe even set somthin up

Mammoth needs to start snowmaking prettysoon, that is if they are still planning on hitting their Nov. 6th opening date. It is really strange seeing ski areas with opening dates down here in cali. I am used to Oregon, when they say most likely mid november, earler if snow allows.
