its called cloud seeding they have doen it for a long time already. Didnt it get invented in like the 50's? Denver or somehwere is paying to do it in CO.

It wouldn't work in the summer dumbass!!! It would make it rain if anything!!! The silver nitrate crystals that they shoot into the air attract water vapour. the water condenses onto the crystals and falls as rain or snow if it is below freezing. in the summer it is not cold enough to freeze into snow. use some common sense grape head.

I didn't see it on the net, it was in Canadian goeographic or something..it's been around for a while, but they haven't had to use it for anything, but they're using it at ski resorts to pump up mass amount of snow..but it's hella expensive.
