Articles: I don't get it?

Call me retarded, but what's the point of the member articles? Isn't if the same thing as a blog? Somebody clue me in...
 
I don't know, but I guess you can write articles about different things in the area, and then eventually they will be sorted by region, so you can find all the cool shit around you
 
Pretty much. It's a good place for things that don't necessarily fit into personal blogs or the regular news at the moment, and the location thing is a huge part of it. The sooner we're able to get a variety of reliable local content (articles, photos, videos, etc.), the sooner we'll really be able to personalize the site for each scene/area.

Also, nopoles is working on a history/version-ing system in order to support editing by multiple users. This should be handy for things like Trick Tips, or info about site stuff like the Karma system that will need to be updated on a regular basis to be useful.

Right now Articles aren't listed on the right hand side of the site with the Team & Resort Updates, Blogs, and Cult News, but they will be added once we have a few in the system.
