when you steal from Wally's world they will need to recoup their losses, how do they do this you might ask? they will raise prices. who does higher prices hurt? it hurts people with less money more than it hurts other people... who knows maybe that poor single mom working at walmart might have to take a pay cut or even be layed off because of walmart loosing money on theives, therefore you activly contributed to her horrible plite. way to go.

Dude you'll be alright, Back when I was in highschool (Lake Washington 05') like 8 girls stole tons of shit from Nordstroms and all over Bell-Square and all they ended up getting was like 30 hours community service in the Kirkland Library... it was a joke and they were caught with like hundreds of dollars worth of shit each (Gucci, Burberry that kinda shit). Your 16, learn your lesson and don't do it again. Your life isn't over.

i really dont see what the big deal is. i steal shit all the time. your gonna be fine. first offense (im assuming), and it was two shirts.
 
I've never stolen anything, but I worked at a store in a poor area where there was shoplifting constantly. You technically didn't shoplift until you walked out of the store, so if you are getting any bad feelings before you walk out, put that shit back. Also, you made yourself more suspicious. What you needed to do was just pick what you wanted, then do it quick and dip before the security guys know what's up. Not that it matters at this point, since you said you weren't going to steal anymore.

I just don't see why you would steal, you are probably middle class or above, seeing that you are on NS. It's simple, the stuff in the stores isn't youres, you didn't pay for it, why would you think you can just steal it, in the end somebody is losing money, weather it be a person or a business, it's the wrong thing to do. You stealing a t-shirt from JC Penny, or stealing a tall tee from a kid on NS is the same thing in my eyes. In the end you took something that wasn't rightfully yours.

Do you have a court date or?

Cause my girlfriends sister just got caught jacking some jeans from Alderwood at Macys and she is in sooo much trouble.
 
ya it was my first offense. hopefully i wont suffer too much, i mean im willing to do my punishment considering i did break a law but im hoping its not too over the top.
 
Somehow I think Walmart employees probably start at minimum wage and then just get raises from there, so really the government and usefulness of the employee determines wages.

And one person shoplifting one thing every once and a while isn't going to make difference, but if we all banded together and shoplifted consistently from Walmart, maybe they could go out of buisness and I can have back my local independant movie store, electronics store, and hardware store.

 
i stole some fountain drinks from my mountain a few times. Than, i broke my hand and couldn't ski. i believe that these things are related
 
actually wal-mart cashiers get paid about $9 per hour. not too bad. anyways it's not that big of a deal man, you should be fine. everyone needs to quit being a bunch of bitches too, he stole a shirt from jcpenney's. quit telling him to die and shit, jesus christ. you'll probably get a fine and maybe community service. if that.
 
my friend got caught stealing from king soopers in dillon, they gave him a 350 dollar fine then the court gave him another 150 and probabation but nothing on his record unless he fucks up again. so it really all depends on the court, but with the amount of stuff you were taking i would say that it will probably be a few hundred, and not much more, or if its a way chill judge just community service...

 
He is on probation. He has a record up until one year after the probation is over. He will always have an arrest record now.
 
probation is not the right word, its similar but not actual probabtion. he only gets the shoplift on his record if he gets caught for anything in the next year. so if he got possesion or some shit they would put shoplifting on there too, if that makes sense

point is when you steal from walmart, you are actively contributing to a 3B dollar loss. now imagine what that sort of money could be put to use for.. but instead some kid decides to take a five finger discount.
 
While a $3 billion dollar loss would be devastating to most companies, it hardly put a dent in Wal-Mart's profits. In fact, they posted $348.6 billion dollars in sales last year.

Oh and since you care sooo much about their employees, you should know that 47% of the money lost came from EMPLOYEE THEFT while only 32% came from shoplifters.
