Arrested For Shoplifting

So everyone on my other thread wanted to hear the story so I just decided to make a thread about it to fill some time.
So my friends and I went to the mall (northgate mall for any of you WA people) and went into JCpenney and I took two shirts that interested me into the changing room put them on tucked them in and then pulled my sweatshirt back on and then a few moments later I found a couple shirts i liked more so I went into another changing room and changed them out (bad idea) at this point people were getting suspicious of me, then as I walked out of the 2nd changing room I noticed this guy wearing casual clothing talking on his cell phone looking at me and acting a little weird, anyways i leave the store and then all of a sudden a big black guy and the guy that i saw outside the 2nd changing room grab me and pull me away from my friends, tell me to clasp my hands and take me back to the security office where I'm put in handcuffs and wait for my mom to come pick me up.
i have a court date and fines facing me in the next few months.

Lol that's kinda funny and kinda suks. Why would you steal t shirts, must been bored lol. Well mexicans at my friends school steal $50 dollar perfume. Its so steriotype.
 
still no excuse to shoplift. sorry, if you really liked them you would have busted out the wallet
 
You sound like a crappy thief. By the way, the trick is to buy something small like a pair of socks or something so as to not make them suspicious.

...but I'm pretty sure you had already blown it at that point anyway. Funny story though, I once had grand theft charges (trumped up charge, I only committed petty theft but then the victim went insurance fraud on my ass), and I eventually got them dropped because, among other things, the cop that arrested me said I was such a bad thief he was pretty sure I had never done it before.
 
I had a couple friends get caught lifting when they were 16. Two of them just got a slap on the wrist, 2 others had to go to court and had to do community service. Maybe you'll get lucky. But i guess if you have a court date, probably not.
 
Reminded me of a buddy who got busted shoplifting last year, except at TKMaxx. There were boxers (a pair per box) on sale at TKMaxx, all in a huge basket. So he grabbed two boxes, one was $5 and the other was $20, and proceeded to "look at them", then put them back in the opposite boxes and checked out. He got the idea from a few buddies who bragged about doing the same thing, but little did he know that there were about 3 of them checking out about 6 pairs of boxers, which probably made the difference in confusing the security guards watching on CCTV. As soon as my buddy walked out of the store, he was grabbed by a black guy and locked in the security guard's office. He was questioned by the police but managed to convince them he didn't realize he had put them in the wrong box. Close call

We teased him about stealing underwear for a long time after that haha
 
You definitely deserved that one dude.

If your going to shoplift, at least have common sense about it.
 
You are a fucking idiot. I hope you get fined up the ass. It was probably worth paying the money for the shirts and now you gotta pay even more hahaha...

dude don't worry about it, fuck all these annoying people giving you shit. You shouldn't have done it (nor should you have made a thread about it) but you're only 16 people and people fuck up when they're young, especially when they're with their young/dumb friends. Just learn your lesson without stressing about it.

BUT all that happened was a slap on the wrist pretty much. I've saved a ridiculous amount stealing so it was just a matter of time till i got busted. Now, I buy shit with the money saved =D
 
eh well, lesson learned. probly get away with it 9 times out of 10, but the 1 time will make your life miserable for at least the next year of your life. So yeah, that sucks.
 
I have jacked SO much shit from stores (not people because im not a dick). Luckily I got caught once stealing earings from macy's I took out mine and put the ones I was stealing in walked out very casually and when I was in the food court a big ass security guard comes over to me while im in line for some taco bell cause I had some insane munchies, was taken back into the security room in the most random place in the mall. I got yelled at for 30 minutes and then my mom picked me up and I only had to go to 5 shoplifting classes that had a bunch of fat black kids, 1 white chick, and my white ol' self.

 
I'm glad you got arrested you stupid fuckstick. Maybe you should have your hand(s) chopped off so society can be sure you won't steal again.
 
but dude im saving up for a pair of skis too but you dont see me stealing stuff i want.. you just gotta suck it up cuz skis are way worth it

it was one mistake and you guys are all flipping shit.
just thought i might share the story maybe getting some good feedback or some info on what might happen but no i get 45 random nser's bullshit
 
what did you expect though posting something like that here?

if that happened to me, i would never bring it up anywhere in public, on internet forums, or anyone outside of my parental units if i was living with them.. seriously man, its fucking embarassing if you are the one caught, and it makes you look like a fucking douche bag for stealing shit, and even more like an ass for getting greedy and getting caught.

and like others have said.. why steal fucking T-shirts?
