Arrested for pot anyone?

My friend was arrested the other night for possesion of marijuana. He had and ounce and a bowl. He's 16. Any idea what he's looking at for consequences. JDC or Probation or what...I live in New Hampshire btw if that affects it at all... If any of you know someone in a similar situation lets hear what happened.

Over the summer I got caught with like half a gram with is shit compared to an ounce so im not sure if the consequences will be the same. We were just chillen in this park thing smoking at like 1:00 in the morning and the cops just rolled in and said they smelt it. Two of us were 16 so we just had to do 20 hours of communtiy service but my other buddy was 17 so he had to do 10 hours and take some classes and all the charges were dropped for all of us.

 
Haha this is why Canada is the best. I have been caught with pot before and all they do is take it away. I havn't heard of anyone in my highschool (who wasn't selling) get arrested for pot.

my buddy got busted for having 2 bongs in his bag a while back. his parents weren't impressed by that. my parents caught me with a bong once... i told them it was a science project. i'm not really sure if they caught on, but science project usually saves the day.

i've never gotten in caugth or busted either. like i don't know. neither has any of my friends. i think you shouldn't smoke at 1 am in a park. cops are always out

i have a good one for this... on thursday im chillin in second hour and they announce that all seniors have a meeting for vip time(like study hall) and anyways we are excused to go to the meetiing so 4 friends and me roll out to play a round of disk and smoke. we get to the park and are just chillen smoke a little bowl and during the bowl a van park in the parking lot not really close so we finish the bowl which was a small fake lighter type ones and it diddn't even go around twice i only had one hit. we throw the round roll back to school for third hour then halfway through i get called down to the office and they had the school pig there and long story short i am getting fucked for taking one hit because a concered citizen saw us parked got our plate number and descriptions and i had a bong in my car and it was on the front page of the newpaper yesterday. good times

the cops here drive past parks and then if they see any kids lighting up they park their cop car further away, and sneek up and surround the park. I've had some really close calls with parents but never been caught *knockonwood*

Dude your friends fucked, my friend got caught with two ounces a scale a bong and a bowl in a safe. he got 6 months probation and 30 hours of community service added to the 50 that you need to graduate from my highschool.

haha. yea the same thing happened to me as ur friend at the top. I got caught with an ounce a bowl and a pipe. I got a year of probation and i couldnt drive till i was 17. Fucking cops.

One time me and my friends were back by the river smoking, just hanging out and bullshitting at night. Two other kids we didn't know came and we were like alright these kids are amatuers lets get them real high and laugh at them. So we're all just smoking out of this bong and hangin out for a few hours. Then flashlights come back and it's the state cops. We just finished burning one 15 minutes before they came so that made things interesting. They're asking us who has the pot, who's bong it is, etc etc just tryin to get someone to crack. The bongs right next to me and I'm like it's not mine and the truth was it wasn't any of ours, it was some kid that came earlier and left it there. So they make us put out the fire, clean up and go to the cop car to run us through the system and what not. They keep on asking me if I'm high and I'm like no I didn't smoke at all tonight with my red eyes and being so stoned. The one kid that we didn't even know was so stoned he fell asleep on the ground right in front of the cops like a pussy. We all go breathalizers and I got a sobriety test cause he said I could drive home then. My two friends got charged with underage drinking cause they had a few beers and I got off scott free. It was quite the experience fuckin cops blew my buzz.

ALL DEPENDS ON THE STATE. here in connecticut, you can get caught with four ounces, or the smalled smidgen of pot, its the same charge. i got busted with 9 grams and a bowl when i was 14. i had to go to court a few times and my case was dropped and i didnt get shit.

yeah i am familiar with CT too. under 4 ounces and its not that big a deal unless it was split up like he was going to sell it. out here in boulder its just a ticket if you get busted for herb.

 
yeah my friend was arrested in CT for possession of paraphenilia and he was also violating a driving law that didnt allow passengers for drivers who just got their liscences, he got like 110 hours of community service and he has to go to drug education classes, he didnt even get caught with nug and it was still 110 hours which is pretty gay
