What about the hundreds of child murders a week that go unsolved?

This whole situation pissed me off. This happens to so many kids her age and yet some of them never even get mentioned on the news? How many times do you see a black kid murdered in Chicago? Never. You think police continue to search after 10 years of not solving a case? They are lucky if they are continued for a year. I just hate how when something like this happens in a rich, white, upscale community, it makes national news. Then when it happens in an LA slum, it maybe has a 5 minute story on the local 5 o'clock news.
 
I can understand what your saying. But I think the reason this case was so big is because the parents were suspects in the begining. And also the fact that people were talking shit about the parents putting her in all those beauty pagents. But like I said before I totally understand the frustration. The media totally shapes the way our country is.

Another thing that gets me is when I guy is convicted of a sex crime against a child they always get 20-30 years or even life. But when a woman does it to a young boy she only ges probation or maybe a year in jail. Thats such bullshit!!!
 
Its just like columbine. I read about a school shooting in New york that killed three kids and it was a tiny little article. Columbine is still talked about.
 
yeah that pisses me off, i saw something on the news a couple days ago about a girl who was killed, and they didnt just call her a girl they called her an honor student, like she is better than everyone else. and the only reason she made it on the news is because she is an honor student. shit like that pisses me off.

I could care less about this dude and how hes flying on a dam airplane.
