just something for you. in new zealand to play the game call of duty(COD) your supposed to be 18, but to join the army you only have to be 16. whats up with that?

hahaha good call good call, but seriously, thats fucked up. but NZ troops are highly wanted for 'peace keeping' cause there seen as neutral.

Well, look at it this way.

If some 16 year old played that game alot he might think- "Wait Fuck that. Shit aint coo in real life!"

not that restrictions keep it out of the hands of said individuals

In AMURICA you can buy cod when youre 17 but can't be in the army til you're 18, suck it.

i find it interesting that in the states you can join the army at 18 (or 17?), but you aren't allowed to drink until you're 21.

"here's a gun, go kill some people halfway around the world for no logical reason... oh, but if you don't put that beer down you'll be in big trouble young man!"

we talked about this in world issues last week for 3 classes in a row. It's interesting how far our rules have inter mingled without someone powerful (obama, harper) anyone stepping in and "calling shinnanigans" on the situation

you CAN drink at 18 IF you join the military.

at any military base P/X/ anything like that, they can legally serve you alcohol at 18,

and if you go to most bars, and tell them you are serving their country, they will probably let you buy a beer anyways.

when thinking about NZ's army, i think of these, A LOT of these

the people who join the army know what they are getting into, when you buy a game you dont. thats what thet ratings are for.

so you could go out there and kill ppl, then come back and not play a game about it... or drink.
