thanks i am going to get the 175s still because i have 179 pistols and they are just right but i am on the east coast so i am going to do a little shorter

 
yea i am 6' and i have 175's...tey werent really built for a big time park ski but im in the park all the time and i love them

 
thanks for the suggestions i just think that if my pistols are the 179s and if any of you have skied on them you should know that they are very soft skis and if the armadas are alot stiffer then the pistols which it really seems like they are i just thought i could just go 4 cm shorter since that isn't a big change in size and it is a smaller change than going up 6 cm.

 
short skis are bad. they made me cry.

i am 182cm and if i was buying a ARv i would get it in 185 and your taller and heavier than me.Plus its a pow ski so you'll like the extra length in the deep stuff

^first of all, "easier" is a matter of opinion. I personally like heavier skis because it feels smoother.

and longer generally looks better, and tends to be more versitile.

because I like poop.
 
what i was saying was thanks and not just that 175s come to my eyes its not like i am afraid of a longer ski believe me i have had 185s before and i just didn't like the length its not like they come up to my waist like fucking snowlerblades.

 
sorry i should have specified at the beginning when i said i am thinking about the arvs and i said probably the 175 i was saying that kind of to specify more of what exact ski stiffness and performance i was talking about. because i know what lengths are i practically grew up in a ski shop and i have heard good and bad things about the armadas and i have never been on them thats all i wanted to know people have diff preferences for lengthes for diff reasons. but thanks for the concerns and suggestions yet again
