they delam really easily, and the topsheet is really hard, so it chips and cracks super easy. shitty ski.

mine are noodles now the topsheet is chipped like normall and the edge has alot of kinks and came out plus at the tail it comes out cus its a wierd base.

 
i tohught the edges were fine just the topsheet can get damaged liek all twins but i guess not from other people

I beat the shit out my 03/04 AR5s constantly for a year and other than some superficial chips and scratches everything is solid. The only issue I had was that both my tail plates (the metal end on the tail) started ripping off, but instead of sending them back, I just let them fall off, and it hasnt affected my riding at all.

this year are really nice they have got a good flex and pop the edges hold up pretty good but the top sheets chip.

ive had two pairs of last years and they both have had the edges crack alot really fast but that doesnt seem to make to much difference so they seem ok except for that i like them

had the 03/04 for less than a year and the topsheet chips and the edges are gone to shit..cracked in like 10 spots and all wavy and bent out of shape. good ski when they were new tho

 
i have the 04/05's and they are fine. the topsheets arent to bad and the rest of the ski is perfect. base has hit a few rocks this year and it has no damage at all. havent done to many rails and boxes yet but the edges look like new.

 
i fucking hate when people say 'there made by elan' there not fucking made by elan... just cause there made at the same factory doesnt mean there made by elan... elan and armada are two totally different companies... so if your going to say it say they are made at the same factory as elan.... FUCK

you faggots they are AR5's. they are the pinnacle of great park /all around ski. who cares about chips. they are kick ass skis and will last until you feel you need another pair of skis.

armadas right now are kinda like lines when line first started, theyre just experimenting with designs and stuff, its only gonna get better. does anyone remember the first 3 years or even 5 years of line?, it slowly improved but started off pretty awful

i have the 03/04 ar5 and i love them. they ski amazing anywhere im at, the top sheet does delam and chip but that doesnt effect anything. im gettin the 06's when they come out
