The subject tells it all...man the graphics on the skiis are horrible, anyone else notice this?

the red 180s are neat, the pink 185s(?) are neat too. the greens are nasty, and the yellows are yellow.

 
the graphics would matter so much that you would want scratches. i always picked a ski for how functioned, not how it looked. when you drop a 30 ft'er or dial a smooth 9 nobdy says 'look at the grapihcs on his skis'

i think they're rad...the simple layout of the design is uber classy and chill......i agree that the green is a little off but the red in the 180 is solid and and so is the pink...i'd much rather have the pink arv than the yellow...they look good

 
I believe the pink ARV's are the best looking skis to date. Scatchs are pretty cool looking, but it's hard to beat hot pink sidewalls.

i like the simplicity of the design too. i also think that yellow is a bit off, but i like the fact that they put all the energy into developing the ski instead of desiging it.

Yeah, they are ugly, but in a good way, like mesh hats. I like them alot.

all the armadas are sweet. they put their own style into their skis not just went with the croud. much like the pe's, trouble makers, and the scratches. they all have their their own new idea. like the scratches for instance who would think of puting a naked chick on skis? whoever thought of it is geanus.

My post wasnt (armadas are ugly and perform like crap) i never said anything about how they perform I just dont like the graphics on them..I figured anyways (from what I heard) that they were great skiis.

i like the graphics. i like bright colors and the armadas do what few other companies will do: they scream 'THESE ARE ARMADAS BITCH AND THEY HAVE FUCKING BRIGHT COLORS.' plus it is said that only a man comfortable in his masuclinity can wear pink

I feel sorry for ski companies. Snowboards have so much more room for sick graphics, so any graphics that look halfway decent on skis are accomplishments in of themselves.

I dont see why people hate the armada graphics. I would have gotten them, but 4FRNT has way better durability. Their graphics arent as sick as the AR5's though.

I used to skiboard.

Now I cant because I refuse to live a life of sin.

I dont know, they have a great novelty value, but they are way to classic in terms of ski value. I think Armada is taking skiing graphics in the right direction.

i also like the armada design, but honestly what the hell does it matter. all that matters is how the ski skis. the design is just a perk.

yeah I really like what Lines does with graphics to, they do multiple colors and crap all over the ski and when they come out with a new ski line, every ski is unique as far as graphics go in there own way

I like the graphics on the armadas, but honestly, I go by overall performance and don't give a shit about how 'cool' I look on the mountain. Same with jackets and pants. Maybe a little more with style in ski clothes though.

yeah it relaly shouldnt matter how u look but how you ski. too bad it probably wont ever be that way though

 
i think they are pretty sick actually. 1 off look. anyway ive been out of the loop for a while (biking and working) and I've got not only to decide what new skis I want but what skis to bring into the shop. (I'm gonna turn our bike shop into a hardcore ski shop in the winter). Ive already decided to get line cause they are reasonably priced are well rounded and have a pretty decent name out there. Im also gonna bring in another brand for a more high performance twintip company and ive been looking at armada and 4front. (maybe both) what company should I hook up with? Also I need a sick outerware brand. anyone have any input?

 
The reason these skis are so simplistic is because they were designed by tanner, boyd, JP, and a whole bunch of other hoodlums. I think the skis are total PUNK and I like it.
