questions on armada. wondering if armada was gunna fix there ar-6 delamination issue from this year for next years ar-6. i like park but ride fairly hard. should i get them next year or arv's. i like fat skis and wonder if the arv is light and is it stff or softer.. ?

well between me and chris we have 6 pair of armada skis. i haven't ever heard of a delam. there is no issue, and the ARV is soft and fun as hell

The ARV is similar in flex to the AR6, but it's a more round flex. It really is a fun ski, but I wouldn't take it in the park except for the rare run.

hell my first gen AR5's are in great condition besides some chipping

yea my arv's bases are splitting open parallel to the edge right in the letters.... so don't know what that says about the construction, my brothers original arv's delaminated under both feet and weren't skiable within a year

ARVs pretty much behave the same way as a park ski just fatter. That's been my experience

yea no delam with mine, the top shit is kinda peeling up a tiny bit in the tail but its just like the junk you get from banging the skis together like on the sidewalls, the ski isn't actually delaminating. are you sure the skis you saw didn't just have top sheets peeling off?
