Armada vs 4frnt

damn, if you are into park, get the sl, you can do whatever you want with those skis.

Easy to trun, super stable, feels 10 times lighterthen the ar5, 10 times more pop. Really i cant see why you would not go on 4frnts
 
Actualy, the ar5s are slimed up a little this year, they are pretty similar, but armada is better so get the ar5s.
 
If I didn't buy my 06 ar5's, '06 STL's were next.

Ridden both skis, so sick, can't go wrong, but I'm sticking to my Armadas.
 
who cares? honestly you cant go wrong. both companies are super solid, core companies. I have 05 Ar5s and I love em i demoed 06 stls and msps i loved em. which ever ski you choose you will think its the best. final answer is there isnt a best there isnt a preference they are both amazing skis and which ever one you choose youll love them. there are subtle differences you may want to look at such as flex patterns if you are going to be competeing on them, park, slopestyle or pipe but if ur just having fun, both skis will more then satisfy you
 
No offense, ced, but making comparisons like this while you've got 4frnt in your profile under potential sponsors kind of casts a shady light.
 
Eh, and then seeing you owning two pairs of Armadas and an Armada picture in your profile makes you a little biased too.

I know you're a fan, as am I, but I'm just playing devils advocate here.
 
Not really... it just says I buy skis I like from a company I like. I don't work for them. I'm not really "getting" anything out of it that I don't pay for like everyone else, unlike riders, who obviously do. I wasn't really calling him out though.
 
just got by graphics, they are both sick skis, you cant go wrong, i dont know what the kids saying the stl's have more pop are on, but the ar5's have PLENTY pop, and if they are still like the 05's they have carbon stringers in them or whatever that thighten when they bend and propel you up better (pop), i am not really sure if the stl's have them.
 
Yea I might be a bit biased toward4frnt But seriously I tried the AR5 and didntlike them at all. I liked scratches, mad trix and even the blizzard more then the AR5.

Maybe the ar5just didntfit withy riding and the STL do. And the reason why I,m using 4frnt is quite simple, I love the ski andif I had to buyu some skis, those would be the one I would buy.
