Ok, usually I hate threads like this, but I found this funny.

Maybe they arnt making the THALL This year. . .?

But on his ARMADA profile page (yes I'm bored), he lists his three favorite skis.

Three ARMADA skis and why:

1. JJ - best allround ski eva!

2. Pipe Cleaner - cause it cleans the pipe quite nice.

3. ARG - I like to float

Why isnt his ski in there?

ya dude i know there's t halls next year they had them at windells. but i've never talked to anyone who likes that ski so maybe thats why hah
 
Maybe the Pipe Cleaners work better overall than THalls? If I ain't totally wrong PC has more sidecut than THall?
 
If I'm not mistaken, The THall is softer, with more flex, and designed for jibs and presses. I don't see Tanner doing a whole lot of that kind of riding these days. It seems like when he is riding park, he's lapping huge jumps. It makes sense that he would prefer a faster stiffer ski. I hear what you're saying...it does seem a bit odd that his signature ski doesn't really reflect his preffered style of riding. Then again, when that ski came out, he was primarily noted for his slope results and urban. My guess is that you'll see a newly redesigned pro model to better reflect his skiing next year ala Anthony B.
 
Yeah, I was pretty sure the ski was still in production. I just found it curious that he doesnt like his own promodel
 
its becuase the pipe cleaner is the best park and pipe ski armada makes, and the other two are powder skis, something that the thall isnt so its not suprising at all it isnt one of his favorites.
 
if you got to the site and watch the product review he says thay made it stiffer than the reecent modles soo yea like some1 said he laps huge jumps or shreds the pow
 
yes they are making the t-hall this year i have already ridden it, and tanner is rarely ever on anything but his custom red bull pipe cleaners, and jjs' ..(jp vs julien) i've only seen one pick lately of any armada team rider on a pair of t-halls and it was tj and it was the 06-07
