Hey everybody, so im going to be buying a pair of the T-halls or Halos and im wondering which i should get.

Which of these two spins easier?

Which of these handles the rest of the mountain better?

Any other comments on which is better and why would be greatfully appricated.

Much Thanks For Your Time

well i know that the elf shoe makes the halo's spin faster, still both have no swing weight

the rocker in the halo is better for slushy days, but if you live in the east, the rocker makes it harder to rail turns on ice.

it all depends on you, tell us where u ski, ur height, what u ski (like rails, jumps).

It really depends, the halo will ski a bit shorter, it's skinnier. I personally recommend the t-hall over the halo just because i love my ar6's and the only difference is that t halls are softer, which would have been nice. Either or is a solid ski choice. The ARV is also a SOLID choice for a ski.

I ski the east coast mainly New York, but i go to Vermont, Mass, and i hanvt been in a while but Canada as well. I'm 5'7. I like hitting jumps probalby more then rails and i also like to ski switch alot. Thanks for the insight so far been helpful.

With that last post I can safely say that you're more suited towards the Halos. They'll treat you a little better on the jumps and I notice it's pretty tough to catch my noses when spinning switch. Go for the Halos, I love mine.

I also made up my mind in the Halos, but I haven't bought them yet. So they aren't good for rails?

I def go witht the t-halls because they are so buttery and underfoot they are really stiff. it is a fun jib ski

A rocketed ski won't be as good on jumps as the full cambered thalls because the full camber as as shock absorbtion when you land and helps with washing out

he gave you bad info, the halo will not be any better skiing pow then the t-hall because it is somewhere like 84 under foot. the rocker isnt enough to give float the only thing it will do is make it harder to land jumps because you will washout, especially trying to land swtich, that was my biggest complaint with the halo and alpha 1, the tips are too soft. When i was doing 1's off the small jump at my mountain with them and they would washout if i landed to far over my tips, which i guess is a good thing in a way because it will make you land better. but i would buy a true camber ski for park, and the thall is so fun to ski, and next years graphics are so sick!

So you skid the Halo? Whats good and whats bad with them, how do they ski compared to the T-hall and how light are they compared to the T-halls? (in grams?)

Ive heard about two people that broke their tips on the T-hall though, only bad thing i have ever heard about them.

i am just personnally a fan of a true camber ski that is why i liked the thall better. the swing weight is definitly easier on the halo because of elf shoe tech. but the thall isnt hard to swing either. idk about the actuall weight of the ski.
They ski much differently because of the rocker it definitly takes a few runs to get used to but not a big deal after a few runs it is quite fun to ski on, if you charge hard i would get the thall and if you charger super hard i would get the ar7 since it is stiffer. the only complaint i have about the halo is when landing switch if you are to far over your tips you will washout, which can be good to help make your landings better but i found it annoying.
I have never heard of any problems with the thall, and they get my reccomendation, becuase they are fun and buttery but still stiff enough to handle decent sized jumps. plus the graphics are sick.

before some one jumps on my balls because of spelling I am on my phone so there are probably a lot of typos.

I think ill get the T-halls´s, but I have no Domains though =(

I´m gonna wait till my local ski shop gets the Armada 11/12, and then decide. I think I will see then wich feels best, wich is lightest and most butterish.
