i got my enemies at half off cuz i bought them in march so everything was sale,i paid only 300for the,thats what i do

 
haha oops, thanks for clearin me up schmies. He didn't say he owned it, but he told us he does a lot for the company and i guess i just got that impression. It makes sense that they would need a lot of financial backing to start a whole company. Many people still didn't know he works for Armada, and many think the skis are all hype. I think they are awesome and all i have heard is good and stiff. Its still sweet he came home to hyland and gave us all free stickers and stuff.

Their graphics could be a bit better.......i mean after all the freakin hype, they bring out skis which are all black and have pink/red or green 'paint splashes'. Whoa i bet the armada team stayed up all night planning graphics.

you have to see the skis in real life to understand what they really look like... theres a diffrence between teh computer drawn scetch and the actull ski...

thanks for your opinion Danger... were sold out of almost everything we make just like every year so I guess we must be doing something right!

But also doing lots wrong... Worst quality skis I've ever skied were Armadas. The edges didn't even have any profile to them. Just straight pieces of low quality metal stuck in the ski. So of course they fell apart and had edge problems galore. Like who even makes edges like that? How did you even find such shitty edge material?

what ski did you have? because from my experience I've owned 4 different armadas and they have held up exactly as they should, 40+ days of heavy park skiing with the edges coming out only because they have been grinded down to nothing. Do you expect an edge to hold up for ever? its metal on metal so something has to give.

Have always loved my armadas and will most likely be a customer for life.

AR5s.

But no. They started coming out everywhere there was either an edge crack or where there was a seam (tips and tails).

And the reason is very obvious:

You've seen the profile of an edge inside a ski? It has that zipper sort of look to it so the it hold in better with epoxy or whatever and it contours better.

These edges has no profile at all. The were perfectly straight pieces of metal. They were just a very poorly built ski that used a very poor material.

And on top of that the metal itself was of a very low grade. I'm not sure what grade edge material normally is, but it's something a little harder than just normal untreated steel. This stuff was not. Whatever they used should never have been used for edges.

I'll take a picture.. you'll see. This isn't slander or grudge. It's just a very very poorly built low quality product.

The AR5 hasn't been in there line up in years so I don't see the point of you trying to give them a bad quality rap for a ski that is 5 + years old. Lots has changed with how skis are made since then.
