Armada skis , asleep at the wheel?

What's the issue with armada and their marketing? They still as of September have yet to post a new website with this seasons products. They don't show anything on any of their social media outlets. The whole summer passes and its crickets . Just seems like they are lackluster in showing what they have until the last minute.

Maybe that's the strategy? Make everyone wait so we get super antsy until they release, and when they do it's all HOLY SHIT NEW ARMADA STUFF

Been the Armada way for a minute now. Can't say they've really pushed many boundries within the past few years. The Al Dente and ARV 106/96 are the only truly interesting skis in the lineup. The team they have is also average when it comes down to the fact. I would still consider them a mid-core ski brand however

So you consider Henrik Harlaut, Phil Casabon, Torin, Tanner Hall, Boberg, and Sammy Carlson an average team?

Out of those skiers listed, I like watching Boberg and Casabon the most. Torin is both technical and stylish, but doesn't have the same levels of creativity as those two others. The thing is, you just listed the entire pro team essentially. It would be nice to see them expand, and pick up even more AM's who have been making a name for themselves lately

Also Snowcities definitely had some good clips/moments. They definitely have the potential to put themselves back on the pedestal they saw themselves on for many years

Or maybe they put out a shit ton of stuff and a lot of it goes unappreciated. Snow societies, all of their free movies, demo tour, etc. are fucked with really good content. You can't say they aren't on a pedestal. They changed what that pedestal looks like, as many other companies have.

You can see most of this years products on different websites like getboards, d-structure, etc . They need to hire new social media representatives and new marketing directors. Armada if you're reading this hire me ;)

There was a thread floating around here recently wondering if people wanted to work for them

I guess that's a possibility but a lame strategy. The brand sits dead for several months a year. The hype really just isn't there. I've seen most of it and saw a large portion of the apparel and outerwear at a ski tent sale so I know what it looks like already . But for getboards and d-structure etc to have it posted before they do is just sad .

The invictus line looks pretty dope IMO, could be a gamechanger

Also to the guy who said the team was wack, name a better pro team outside of maybe faction. BE Inspired looks insane, Oil & Water and the Sammy C Project were sick and on the contest front, Henrik and tyw have it on lock. And in the local team, they have guys like Quinn. How is that team just ok??

yeah because overnight they can just magically create thousands upon thousands of new skis just so kids on ski forums will be satisfied.

They released a ski on Evo.com as a collab with them. The ski itself has some nice graphics IMO, and its supposed to be a hybrid between the TST and KUFO.

This is the TST with a special topsheet for EVO not a mix between the TST and Kufo

Directly from Evo.com description:

"The Armada TST evoAIR Skis are a special co-lab hybrid blending the best of two awesome Armada skis, the TST and the KUFO. We loved the all mountain versatility of the TST, so the rocker-camber-rocker shape was a must. We loved the lightness and maneuverability of the KUFO, so the superlight Karuba core had to happen.

Shape of the TST, lightness of the Kufo, basically like what the JJ zero collection is but in the TST, mostly TST, barely KUFO

that thing seems like it would actually be super rad as a touring ski.
