ah, my bad, i thought grete won superpipe at the open as well... well, if they had a chick slopestyle event at x, she'd have won that too...
 
i reckon armada should change their website then, as it says:

"Armada's leading lady Grete Eliassen took home the womans superpipe Gold Medal the second year in a row... go gletea go!"...

Year after year, Tanner proves he is the premier athlete in our sport. He's always one step ahead of everyone else, and his focus is unparalleled. There is nobody in skiing with more drive, dedication, and focus. If Tanner puts his mind to something, it gets done, and he has my endless respect. Filming two of the best segments of the year, on half a year of time? Are you kidding me? Starting a his own film company? Recovering from breaking both ankles in no time flat, and coming back to destroy the competition? Please. You can't hate Tanner. His work ethic is unreal. He didn't miss a year, he barely gave anybody time to catch up.

And don't get me started on Grete, who's so far ahead of everyone else, it's almost unfair.
 
Can I also please add that I nailed at least 15 rocks yesterday on my JPs, including dropping about 10 feet onto a couple and hitting several at speed, and have only 2 base scratches to show for it? Yeah, I'm pretty happy with the product, too.

Tanner deserves all the respect he hasn't been getting for the past few years. And more.
 
man I got AnT's, last years AR5's and the 03-04 AR5's. Npt a single pair has more then scuffed topsheets. Believe me I ride my skis hard. Armada makes a reallly durable product.
 
yeah i have the original ar5's and ive been riding them hard for three years now and there are only some scratches in the top sheet to show for it.
