so yesterday I ordered a hoodie, 2 tees and a balaclava from armada and the shipping charge comes out to $24. I though this was high but didnt mind too much. Today I get an email from them telling me I have to pay more shipping charges because its shipping from 2 different locations. The total shipping charge is up to $35 now. WTF armada?

Anyone else experience anything similar with them?

Sparknotes: I paid $35 for shipping 2 tees shirts and a hoodie.

 
where are they shipping to?

35 bucks is WAY too much for that. shipping should be under 12 no matter what for clothing
 
Wow thats bs. I just bought a pair of skis from them and I think the shipping was something like 19 bucks. Give them a call, heck you can just call up the main number and type in hall in the names directory, and you will be transfered to tanner halls brother. Super cool dude. I am sure they will do something as that is a really high price, and not your fault that they have to ship from 2 locations.

I am pretty sure they ship all inventory out to retailers in the early fall as soon as they get it from their suppliers. Shopatron finds the nearest retailer with the product and they ship it to you. Armada, retailer, supplier all win off the sale. You lose on shipping.

I assume no single retailer near you had both products, so the system found it at another retailer, thus the increase in shipping.

Armada is still a smaller company and it's probably still more efficient for them to use shopatron than to sit on product and run their own e-commerce.
 
When i ordered a hoodie off them last year, i got a tracking number but it turns out they never shipped it, 2 weeks later i finally talked to a guy and they sent me a free tshirt hat bandana and even upped the size of the hoodie upon my request, and next day shipping. I was quite pleased
