the sales rep for armada,quebec region, that have been chosen is a snowboarder, what a CORE company hein!!!

From my minimal knowledge of this aspect of the business, reps usually have to sell a bunch of different brands in order to make a decent living. The rep for quebec most likely reps for a few different companies in the region and probably has a lot of experience in the area. Just my view, but I'd rather have someone that knows the area and the clientele rather than having a skier just because he's a skier.

may be it good to have someone who knows the industry, but since this company is putting the emphasis on 'the rider drived and owned company'

and that its core, and its only twin tips ski, the best..bla bla bla..but their rep is a snowboarder, who will learn the stats by heart and dont relly know is hsit...kind of guy who cant even jump, rail or ski switch...its like the little stupid things that just flew their whole good plan and idea...

The people that replied to you are onto somthing. What they haven't mentioned yet is; your avarage ski company ski rep is pretty cluless as to what is really going on. Snowboarders get it. They've been there.

Real skiing and snowboard companies understood that skiing and snowboard was the same focking sport with diffrent boards under those two feets we all haves.

here are the options: Get a skier to rep the company, only the guy or girl has no clue what a jump is, or what's going on with skiing in general, OR get a snowboarder to rep, a snowboarder who knows what the hell a park is, and generally knows what's going on in the jib world.

Rip on snowboarders all you want, but I'm sure Armada doesn't fuck around. They'll choose the best person for the job. Companies today can't afford to do any less, especially smaller startups. And in case you missed it, the skier/snowboarder war was over a long time ago, with a few exceptions(Sims, but that might have been a joke, who knows for sure?)so get over it. Go bitch somewhere else

 
all I can say was Sims had the dopest party of them all at SIA. they had fucking GWAR show up at their booth in full costume autographing pictures of naked chicks. It was SWEET.

 
Humm, I'm a snowboarder...i dont hate them at all, its jsut that its suppose to be CORE and all that shit..its like if a new snowboard company was opening, and skierr were repping...there not a boarder that would buy it actually...

i switch gear with some of my friends and i go boarding all the time,i find it fun but a its friggin tiring having to skate and shit and unstrapping and strapping in again,its fun to see boarders who never skied before ski,especially when they try switch shit hahaha

 
I just quit boarding after 5 years. It was fun but nothing compared to skiing. As long as the snowboarder isn't making the skis thats cool.
