are the prices on the armada web site canadian or american.im hopeing they are canadian cause 575 american is alot for skis.

i would guess american because they are based out of america, and if they were in canadian, they would say cdn after usally. I dont really care tho, cause my free pair is comin right after x mas, the rep is hookin up our shop.

 
it might seem like alot, but think about what you're doin when you spend 575.00 on a pair of armadas. you're taking money away from race-based, ski corporation and putting it into the hands of the FIRST rider owned and rider operated ski company.

i just finaly saw their skis today and i 'm inpressed i might get a pare for shits and giggles but they will have to be like $100 can. to do that

aramda is a dope idea for sure. but how do you revolutionize the ski industry if no one can afford them except for the rich prics that snake you every hit or every time you drop into the pipe.

you people make me laugh. look in the freeze buyers guide and you will realize that there are a shitload of skis that cost way more than the armadas. besides next year twhen they make more skis, they will be cheaper

i bought my scratchs online for $480.00 the only place you can find armadas online is armadaskis.com and there $575.00 . So lick my hairy grundel :)

k2 public enemy -$350 on backcountrystore.com or sportsden.com / your paying for sick graphics, a sick purpose, and a great ski. the problem with a rider owned company like armada is that its made up of the top riders in the game, of course there gonna think 'kids worship us, they wont care about the prices, they just want to be like us', wait till next year i bet itl be 200-300 cheaper. line's skis were around $300-400 when they first came out. F*ck fame and publisity, a ski is a ski

 
you get what you pay for - pep just got a pair of the retail PEs and he broke them in a few days. i dont know if i want those now. the seth pistols have held up good so im gonna ghet some of those

line started as a snowlerblade company and is still a snowlerblade company. i understand that skis are a big part or even the majority of their business but the fact remains, there hasnt been a newschool company yet and if you bought your scratches for 480 and armadas are 575, simple math would say that it's about a 95 dollar difference, since when is a hundred bucks that outrageous, i mean i'm a poor college student but it's not that bad, and if they are the shit then it's worth it.

next year we are gonna have armadas and they will probably go for like 450- 499, thats just my thought. as for the pe's braking that sucks, i havent rode mine yet

 
Wait until they're in stores. I have a hunch that they'll be better priced.

And if theyr'e 575 usd, I don't think they'll be 850 canadian or whatever the exchange is. Check canadian stores and I bet you'll be able to get them at a really good price.

matt..canadian stores are selling them for $700(at least the one i called) so its a little cheaper, but not a whole lot.

alpentalik: the graphics of the pe's and the seth pistols were both made to slap preppy race companys and rich old tourist in the face. before this everyones been to scared to post a gun or a rave on a ski, i respect your opinion but i just think that k2's finally stepped up a done something with freestyle and im gonna support it all the way

This is armadas first year, so no wonder that they cost buttloads of money, once next year they become more mainstream, the prices will drop and they should be like any other pair of twins in a shop, and as for k2, they have a great idea for selling PE's for 350 retail, more companys should follow their example, and their graphics are sick.
