Armada Poles v. Faction Poles

I've had Armada poles with the Grab Tab for a while, the tab being an awesome feature. I've beaten mine to shit, and while I love the tab I'm not a fan of the color-way..

Faction now makes poles though none of them have the skinny "bike grip" grips, nor do I know if they have a screw top making it possible to switch the grips out..

Anyone have experience with either of these?

Wouldn’t say they make a huge difference, but I personally like them. Lots of chatter about mUh SkIeRs ThUmB, which is completely wrong. Nice way to keep your grips in the palm of your hand in a variety of situations, even the lift lol

I’ve seen grab tab poles been interested do they actually make a difference?

nah, i personally hate the grab tab, I don't ski with the straps so unless you do the grab tab doesn't really do anything unless your skiing with super super thin gloves or no gloves at all.

I’ll just stick to my powder basket adjustable poles seems to be very mixed messages about them and I’m to cheap to take the chance and spend money on them

Questions asking for input on X, not an opinion on N distantly related under the umbrella alphabet. Seems like I can't detach the tab - which is dope, if you'd stop riding that D for a sec and try it out.

Most poles these days are easy to switch the grips out if you just want to throw your preferred grips on a new pole.

Just heat them up with a heat gun or some hot running water and slip em off (protip for anyone reading: do NOT try a heat gun with a carbon pole, it won't go over very well)
