Armada pipe cleaners mount point

^^ no don't be a retard Armada the pipe master himself Tanner Hall mounts them at 2 back but i would say 1.5 if you are gonna do more switch don't center mount the ski will be cruddy on rails because you wont be on the balance point
 
well yeah except he said he's only going to use them on pipe and jumps.. and last i checked there arent rails or boxes involved in either of those..
 
youre missing part of the conversation obviously... armada said he shouldnt mount center because it wouldnt be as good for RAILS because the balance would be off..... and the creator said he would only be using them for JUMPS AND PIPE... which one can only assume means no rails..
 
oh excuse me sorry for mentioning rails. What i am sayin is the kid is gonna be doin pipe and jumps i accidently thru in rails cause yah know alot of people like hittin rails my bad. T hall uses them for pipe and jumps strictly and he rides them 2 back and jp rides them 2 to 3 back but if you reall want to have them be a lilttle better for switch on jumps go 1.5 like tj and jacob, so please don't try to tell me i am wrong cause you aren't winning it.
 
why would you tell him he'll ride better on rails when he said hes only using them on jumps and pipe is what im trying to get at..
 
armada221 i would just like to say that im not trying to imply at all that your wrong, im just saying you shouldnt be trying to sell him on a mount based on something he wont be using them for.
 
This thread is pointless because there is no way for us to tell you where YOU would prefer your skis mounted. PERSONALLY I like ALL my skis mounted at -1cm from true center. BUT lots of people ski their skis at true center, and love it. Lots ski them at -2, -3, -2.5. Generally I would say mount them somewhere betwen center, and -4 from center. But, that isn't gong to help much becasue it's all what you prefer, and this YOU will like for YOUR style.

All of thos places are acceptable. The people who mount farther back, are going to tell you to mount back, and the people who mount center will say nothing but center.
 
so true. my two cents is to mount 2 back from center. I used to be on the bandwagon for center but ever since having them 2 back it seems like I have a lot more control.

If you can demo them than go and try center, back, forward, etc. and see which one YOU prefer. Just like zerospin said.
